After a storm, i lost video. Thinking it was the motherboard i sent into Gigabyte and they found zero issues. I tried on board video with two different monitors and two different hdmi cables. I tried the RAM one stick at a time. Since the MO is good, Whats the next likely cause?

I7-4790K
Gigabyte Z97-D3H
(2) 8GB Gskill DRAM
Corsair CX750

Thanks,
MIke

Then you'll have to start narrowing down the available options. Start by re-seating the CMOS battery. If that doesn't work, try to re-seat the processor and see how it goes.

Have you tried to install the GPU on the second PCIe slot to see if it works? In case it does, then the PCIe 1 of your motherboard could be damage by the electric surge from the storm, otherwise it's the GPU itself that got damaged. Good luck.

I pulled the video card and the on board video won't work. I can't even view the bios screen. Nothing. The drives are spinning, there are no beeps, just a blank screen. If the MO was checked good by Gigabyte, what else is left.
