My name is J and I am a Data Junkie.
I have an Asus M78 MB with an FX8350 cpu and have run win10 and Linux (separately) and run into the same issue.
I have 5 drives internally and one SSD
Externally I have tried almost every configuration I can think of with Seagate and WD 2TB - 6TB external HDDs, I can never get more than a TOTAL of 10 dives TOTAL recognized
The board has 5 USB built into the backboard, PLUS internal connectors for 4 more.
No matter how I connect them usually 1/2 the extrenals don't show up. Ive also tried using powered USB hubs, no go. Ive run into the same issue w/ MSI MB's anyone have any ideas?
I know I need to deal with "my problems" but uintil then I just want my stuff online when I am.......
