[strike]Since a long time and alot of searching i have come across this forum and hopefully some help

I have my appartment on the attic of my parents home (2 floors up) and access the router in my fathers room (directly below me) and get a full signal connection of 72 Mbps (2.4Ghz connection), yet the max bandwidth i get is 5 Mbps on any test i do both up and downstream (there are no limits set in the router or the system

All background applications are disabled and off (including windows services that utilizes network)

anyone know how i can get my network to utilize the full available bandtwidth

thank in advance

specs:

Fixed by replacing adapter (appears the usb connectors on the chip were damaged after moving houses causing low power throughput and thus not enough data
