Hello All,
I have a big problem with my internet. I am currently living in a hotel and working while going to college but the internet at my work/hotel has this weird problem I do not know how to troubleshoot. If someone could guide me it would be really appreciated because it is a pain to do schoolwork online with internet problems.

Problem: I have contacted the ISP many times because I thought it was on their side but they told me to check the modem and use the ethernet cable and check my speed which shows 5mb as its supposed to be but my wifi is extremely slow and loses connection regularly. After couple of days it will solve the problem on its own and wont show up for a while again but this time it cost me a test so I would like fix it myself because my employer is not gonna do it and most of my hours outside of college are here working.

They have 3 access points in the building but the owner does not know where they are and I am going to try to find them tomorrow. Please help me resolve this issue.

Wireless issues are extremely challenging to find problems. Generally it is interference but since the only way to see interference is a expensive spectrum analyzer people generally just try to work around it by changing channels. In your situation it could also be over utilization when you only have 5m and lots of possible users. You would have to try to determine how much traffic you had from each AP and if you can determine who is doing it. It is very common for people who live near hotels that have open internet to steal the service so it could be someone living close by using all your bandwidth.
