[SOLVED] Limiting CPU speed

Hello, I disabled auto on my cpu (i7 8700)clock multiplier and made it 32 so it runs a constant 3.2 GHz. I noticed significant changes in my temps, from 65-70 degrees average to 55 degrees average while gaming on Ultra Settings, with no noticeable difference in performance. However, I noticed that my Aorus h370 gaming 3 mobo had its cpu red LED on (manual says if red LED is on, cpu might not be working properly) but I haven't gotten any issues so far. Shall I switch back to auto and suffer high temps or remain at capped 3.2 GHz with a disturbing red LED on mobo on?

You could get a better cpu cooler.
65-70C is not that terrible for full load btw.
