How do you do a
line feed when you name things?

A simple copy and paste operation will work, but unless you have your key
bindings set up to perform it, it will not work.
Go to Options -> Controls -> Keymap (at the bottom) and select the Chat tab.
Scroll down to ChatEditCopy and change to whatever you want it to be. I use
Control+Shift+C
Do the same for ChatEditPaste.

Open up the in game notepad by typing /notepad.
Type out what you want write exactly the way you want it to appear.
Highlight everything and copy.
Finally, paste into the field of whatever you are naming (ie, item, sign,
etc).

Thank you so much, I knew it could be done. But I have been pulling my hair
out trying. stuff like <P> and
in every form i could think of.
If on shadow and need a ch PST and i will come to you.
