With Black Friday deals in full swing I was hoping to finally upgrade my current mic load out from a standard headset (with mic) to a desk mic and using my headset as a pair of headphones instead. I'm also using a sound card (and loving every minute of it) and would love some suggestions on what kind of mic I can get that has a hub that I can plug my mic/headset into and then plug THAT into my sound card so that I can still put it to use. A lot of mics that I've seen are using USB compressors...which isn't helpful since I want to be able to utilitze my sound card. I'm open to changing to a different wired headset as well if you think there are better and affordable options out there.
Here's what I'm working with;
Headset - Razer Blackshark V2 Pro (exclusively wired mode)
Sound Card - Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus Pure Edition
Anyone have any suggestions to what I can pivot to?
