Lines on monitor

I bought a new Dell 22" monitor
the horizontal lines move a bit
it happens lots of times
is it cuz i have my monitor near a 15amp socket which i use for my 450W SMPS
what could be the problem?

Yes that could be the problem. Move it as far as possible. See the results. Or check the cables of monitor, properly fitted or not. What is brand/model of your SMPS ?

I will check the cable tomorrow
but my SMPS is a Corsair 450 W

hey i even tried shitifng my monitor but did not work

but it was my old nvidia 9400 graphics card that was the problem i guess
i disabled use graphics card option and then the lines went anyway thanks for your help
