Lines on Photos - STILL!

I have tried everything I see on the internet and HP site to get rid of the lines when I install new cartridges. I finally got it fixed last time after going through half the new cartridges testing it. Didn't think to make a note, didn't think it would happen AGAIN and I am so frustrated. Getting through to HP is a joke. I have spent hours and dollars on this and am ready to chuck the whole printer. Anyone? Please give me a tried and true answer, as I said, I have tried all the obvious and a lot of not so obvious choices, but apparently not the right one. Help!

Well....reading through this 'question', I can kind of glean what your problem is.

You have a Windows system, an HP printer, are trying to print photos, and are seeing lines in the printout.

No idea of what printer....inkjet or laser, age, model, what else you have done...

Right.
Did you invoke the cleaning routine on whatever machine this is?
