Lines on screen with new 970 GTX only in game

They're horizontal only in game; tested League of Legends, Diablo 3, and Hearthstone. Hearthstone did not have any lines whatsoever. Disabled V-Sync and it felt like the mouse was lagging. Another strange thing in League of Legends was that I uncapped the FPS and I would get the lines. The lower the framerate went, the less visible lines would be. But 80 FPS cap would feel slow, as if it never even hit 60 frames while on an 80 cap.

This only happens in game and I have the latest driver downloaded.

Thats not good. I would RMA... or if you are feeling adventurous, you could try and reseat your gpus heatsink. Also, what temps were ya getting in game? Have you tried the other display outputs on the card?

Tried it with an old monitor (vga to dvi adapter). Graphics card started to make a weird noise so I took it out. Doing a uninstall and doing the driver installation again through nvidia's program.

After doing it, the noises started again and the lines were still in game. Might have to RMA
