trying to find overclocking softwear for amd turion x2 ultra 64.I have looked all over and i can't seem to find anything.Of course i am new to overclocking but here are my specs/hp pavilion dv5-1250us/ati radeonn hd 3450 512mb dedicated.And well the think is is that i just dont seem to be getting the preformance out of it i would expect,not that its a power house of a gaming laptop or anything but its realy not up to par and i just installed the vista home premium yesterday,btw i have 4 gigs of ram so any help or a link to a site would help

HP notebook?????? You could try overclocking the GPU through the ATI catalyst control panel, and I would say that much of an overclock at all is going really going to heat things up in the laptop. Other than that, you are pretty much stuck with what you have.

Im not sure if they still make them or where to find them
but I used to have a Sony VIAO that you could pull the floppy drive out
and replace it with another battery or a fan that would exhaust some of the heat.
