Linksys EA3500 Setup Error

After searching endlessly for solution regarding the error I get setting up my new 'Linksys EA3500' I have had no such luck fixing my problem. So here's the problem:

I insert the setup CD, I agree, Then it starts looking for my network and validates. Then this shows up:

I am using a DSL cable, and it is properly connected in to the port labeled 'Internet.' I have tried every reccomendation I've come across, none of which have worked. I am hoping to find a solution here.

Do you have a separate modem to accept the DSL line? The ea3500 only has an RJ45 input, and therefore would not be the only DSL networking component involved.

In fact, the word "Modem" is mentioned twice in the above screenshot...
