[SOLVED] Linksys Wifi password fixed?

Logged into linksys and setup router/password.

Noticed that the wifi password provided appears to be fixed as I couldn't locate a place to change the Wifi password. Also noticed that Linksys site is not https- unsecure.

Both the Wifi password and unsecure website makes me as a Router novice wonder about the vulnerablity of this.

If you are unsure about the security, then do the router setup without WAN (ISP) connected. Do it with a wired connection and use the router IP address rather than a URL.

Queried Linksys support and the password(s) are modifiable via the logon for router. Not obvious to new user.
