My new Dell laptop with Windows7 is having trouple recognizing the new router.

Are you trying to set up the router ? -- if so connect using ethernet cable.

If the problem lies with wireless -- look for a Win 7 driver on the wireless adapter maker's website.

While troubleshooting wireless, good idea to disable wireless security in the router temporarily.

we use a gaming device on the second floor. the router is on the first. i wish to obtain a stronger signal at the game site. one 160n below and another upstairs.
