Linksys wusb6100m adapter

Hi, I just bought this linksys wusb6100m wifi adapter from best buy for $40.

they gave me an installation cd butt my cd drive isnt hooked up.

i tried downloading the drivers from linksys.

i downloaded the set up installation and ran it no problems.

i then tried to update the drivers for it manually. it all said it went fine.. but i pressed i have a hard disk when i tried to install it. which i dont

now its connected to the internet but the speeds are super slow and i dont know what to do

i thought i had it installed and updated properly but its not acting like it.

any suggestions?

I just checked. it seems like its updated to the newest version. Its still slow as shit and disconnects and stuff.. i just installed my brothers wifi adapter to my pc and it works great... wtf is wrong with my wusb6100m?

well i just installed my usb adapter on my brother computer.. he has windows 10 it was a cake to install and works great... maybe its because im using windows 7 and i dont even think its a legit copy =/ anyways were basically swapping usb adapters for the time being
