On your first PC, go Windows. Then dual-boot with Linux. Then you get the best of both worlds. Because if you're in it for gaming, then Windows is the way to go, sadly. But you can still use Linux on the side.
all you can do is research things like that on each game it may under something like wine or steams Linux client ? its a crap shoot

there some games from like Id software that have native Linux clients but them's rare birds these days and nothing is a hard copy on the disk as it once was
