Linux driver for Matrox G200EH

The HP ProLiant ML10 server comes with this onboard video: Matrox G200EH.

When boot into SUSE Linux Enterprise 11SP3 (64bit), it automatically supports resolution of 1920x1080@60Hz. This is the native resolution of my monitor (HP S2340L). But when boot into Debian 7.8 (64bit), it doesn't support that high resolution anymore but only 1280x1024 at maximum.

I try to manually install the VGA driver [1], but I couldn't find the correct driver.
So the question is, how to make the onboard Matrox G200EH support 1920x1080 resolution in Debian linux 7.8 ?

I downloaded the driver of "Matrox MGA G200"[1], it is version 4.4 released in 28 Jul 2006. I couldn't find driver of the exact model of "Matrox MGA G200EH" [2].

Then I untar and run the install.sh, it prompts me this:

Please enter the full path to your current X11R6 directory:
Example: /usr/X11R6

But Debian 7.8 comes with xorg 7.7. Where to find the X11R6 ?

Then I just try to enter "/usr/lib/X11/rstart/commands/x11r6" to try my luck.
Then below error message come out:

install.sh: line 151: test: ./xserver/Revision: binary operator expected
ERROR: The X server drivers included in this installation package
do not support the current version of your X server.

Apparently this driver is obsolete.
The readme file of the driver says:

A working installation of XFree86 4.3.0, and X.org versions 6.7.0,
6.8.0, 6.8.1, 6.8.2, 6.9.0, 7.0.0 is required before the binaries
can be installed.

To extract the driver files, enter the following command where
<mga_filename> is the name of the driver file you want to extract:

tar xvzf <mga_filename>.tgz

cd mgadrivers

To install the drivers, run the script as "root" with no option:

sh install.sh

So the question is, how to make the driver works correctly under Debian Linux 7.8?
It works seamlessly with SUSE Enterprise linux 11SP3.

Meanwhile, in BIOS I had changed the video option to "Embedded Video Primary, Optional Video Secondary" because the VGA is the onboard VGA.

Note: The objective is to support 1920x1080@60Hz on Matrox MGA G200EH on Debian Linux 7.8 64bit (kernel version 3.2.0-4-amd64)

maybe you can bang around the Linux forums and look for things like this to help ?? hacking in the terminal is my biggest Linux turn off .. you would think by now the year 2015 Linux would have a universal installer and not work like its still dos days ??
