Question Linux Mint 18.3 Kde or Latest kubuntu

I have a few questions...
Which distro is

1.faster
2.More stable
3. Can be themed without problems

At the moment I have linux mint 18.3 kde and its using about 0.49gb of ram.
I dont care about lightweight distros as my pc can handle it.

Stick with Mint.

I switched to the latest Kubuntu when the Mint announced that they were dropping KDE. I really wish Mint would have stuck with it, however I understand why they dropped it.

I always felt that Mint was historically more stable, however I haven't hand any real problems with the latest Kubuntu. I'm running it on 3 machines now days.

The Xfce desktop is light, fast, stable, easy to use and freely configurable. Debian testing is stable and you get bug fixes and new features fast. Debian Sid gets bug fixes and new features weeks earlier. Use the Whisker menu and upgrade the Xfce4 from the experiment repository.
