Linux Mint "Calculating File Indexes"

When I try to install Linux Mint it hangs on "Calculating File Indexes". On the Linux Mint installer I click my language, timezone, keyboard layout, and user settings. It then gets to the part where I have to choose a drive, I choose my main drive. I select my main partition and assign it to / and tell it to format to ext4. I click forward and did not change /dev/sda to anything else on the drop-down. I click install.
