I have a 25gb postgresql 14 database current on an hdd. It is accessed by a single user at a time, about 3 users total. I am contemplating moving it to a dedicated presumably faster ssd but realize that there is lot more to it than disk speed. Does anyone have any advice as to whether this is advisable? It is currently on Linux Debian 11.2.

There is little reason to NOT put it on an SSD.

Access and response time will be much better.
