Linux thin client server running Windows 7 desktop environments?

I am searching for a solution to create a Linux thin client server that boots the thin client user into a windows 7 environment.

Can anyone aid me in my search?

One way or another, you need a Windows server to do that. And you need to pay fairly hefty licence fees. I suppose you could run Windows Server in a VM running on a Linux host, but what's the point?

As Ijack says, to boot to windows you must have a windows server and those licences don't come cheap . No way around that because your server machine can only run one OS at a time just like your desktop. Could you tell us what you want to run on the thin clients and maybe there are alternatives for you in linux.
