As a Linux binary build by valve, no. Cadega does support HL2 though check out

I doubt it.
Gabe Newell has heavy ties with Microsoft and I don't believe he would do
anything to further linux's potential, unlike developers such as ID software
who embraced the open source/ linux boom.

Thanks for the link. No one seems to like this solution (valve forums).
Strange how all the main game servers are running on linux boxes but there
is no client.
