What is the best Linux distro to use for a noob trying to learn Linux?

The one that has the most support, forums, webpages, e.t.c. on google.
Which would be ubuntu.
If you really want to learn linux you would have to read an (e)book and get all the commands and file structure down.

I generally point people to Ubuntu or LinuxMint.

Mint, Fedora, Manjaro, Ubuntu, Pop!_OS and KDE neon.

Fedora and Manjaro aren't based on Ubuntu, but they are still very user friendly.

If you want to try a user friendly BSD system, you have helloSystem and GhostBSD.

Just tried Linux for first time in at least 10 years this last Friday. Am using Zorin Core and very happy so far. Easy transition from Windows.

Zorin and POP OS are very good for new users.

I'm partial to the Ubuntu flavor called Kubuntu.
