Okay, so first off this was my first time building a gaming rig(like almost two years ago?). I also didn't know about Ryzen or any good tech coming out then. But anyways I went with an amd 8350 for gaming and a hyper 212 Evo. Recently it seemed to have a poor performance and I'm not looking to upgrade to Ryzen anytime soon because I might as well keep my cpu until it's unplayable. So I took off my hyper to get a different paste on the cpu and broke the plastic bracket that goes over the metal cooler. Can anyone recommend me a good liquid cooler under 100 dollars? Closed loop? I'm hoping I could try to overclock with it and maybe push out a little more performance with my cpu I have. I'm a cheapo and don't like spending a ton on some tech. I figured I'd also ask it for Christmas so I wouldn't have to worry about buying it.

PS the hyper 212 is literally a pain in the ass to reinstall so I don't really feel like messing with it again..

Its ok but the 120mm liquid coolers are not that great because the cooling surface area is small so the fans run faster and they don't dissipate heat as well as a quality air cooler of the same price.
You could get a better air cooler than water cooler for under 100. Depending on the height cooler you could get an nh-u14s or nh-d15 from noctua that would work great. Cryorig r1 or h5 would do too. But if you still want liquid the corsair h100i is about 109 and is good.
