Hi,

I am building a new PC with liquid cooling. I tested the liquid cooling after the install using the psu jump start and everything looked good until the point where I started connecting the cables to the motherboard and rest of the parts like SSD and Graphics card. When I tried to start the computer, all I see is just the RGB LEDS lights glowing on the motherboard and none of the liquid cooling components that were working previously weren't working this time. This includes the RGB waterblock, liquid cooling pump, RGB fittings etc. I even tried to isolate the problem by testing the PSU with a PSU tester and it seems to have been working fine. I tested the molex connection as well using the tester and it works fine. At this point I am unable figure out what the problem is and am really concerned about the system as I already spent a fortune on this.

Yes I pulled out all the cables from PSU and connected only the water cooling components and tried to mimic the same process that I followed before connecting to the motherboard. But still it does not work.

I am sure I inserted the pin into the right slots on the motherboard cable while testing the water cooling. But just wondering if it fries the whole system if we insert the pins into the wrong slots and turn on the PSU. also is there a chance that a faulty mobo fries the whole components in the system?
