So I'm planning on getting a 2500k and to overclock it. I'm trying to make sure everything fits so I don't waste money. I also need suggestions on what liquid cooler to get based on what I got.

Case : Corsair 100r (non-silent)
CPU : i5 2500k
Motherboard : Asus P8Z68-V Pro

Solution
Idk how much RAM is included in that price, but I'd much rather get something like this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor ($129.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock - B450M PRO4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($64.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Team - Vulcan 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($99.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $294.97
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Even if you step down to a ryzen 3 you'd probably get a CPU that performs as good or better than a 2500k, and come in under $280.

I have not bought it yet I'm just making sure that if I did buy it the cooler would fit.

Don't even consider buying a 2500k unless you get it SUPER cheap, and I'm talking like $120-140 for the 2500k, mobo, and 16GB of ddr3. It has no upgrade path whatsoever and only 4 threads. If you go AM4, then you'll get better performance now in addition to having upgrade options when zen 2 comes out in a few months.
