The primary reason liquid and electronics don't mix is because liquid usually gives electrons a pathway to go places they shouldn't.
Electronically speaking, you could theoretically unplug your computer, let the capacitors discharge....and submerge it in a bucket of water. As long as everything is completely dry before you apply power, no electrical damage would occur. **Don't anyone actually go out and try this. Water has corroding effects on many parts and you could never be 100% sure that everything is dry after full submersion**
So in your case just give that small amount of liquid a lot of time to dry out. Then reapply power, and you will probably be fine.
It's hard to recommend a time frame without actually seeing the amount...
