I am looking for liquid coolant that allows you to see the movement of it flowing through the tubes.

The best I have found yet is mayhem Aurora coolant, excellent, but they don't have my color (yellow) stocked anywhere for north America.

Any other coolants that allow you to see the flow in action through clear tubes/clear blocks?

It looks SO cool! No flow meter needed!!

Solution
Aurora coolant is made to be used specifically for shows. They only last 24 hours or less according to Mayhems.

Also, there really isn't a coolant where you can see the movement. Bubbles are bad for cooling and anything thicker than regular coolant would get stuck in the channels inside of the waterblocks.
That's not possible, you can't see it flowing through the tubes because it accounts for all the volume inside of the tubes! And with liquids they form to the shape of the container. Think back to grade school science :p

It'll just look like a still color. If you do see stuff flowing, it's stuff that shouldn't be there, like bubbles.

It's totally possible and it looks gorgeous:

I'm looking for alternatives to this specific brand, wondering if anyone has any suggestions. It allows you to see the flow and at what speed it is flowing (generally).

That doesn't look like it'd last forever, once whatever he put in there spreads out equally you won't see it like that. That was the first time he turned it on with that coolant injected which is why it whirled like that and looked all cool. But, indeed you have proven me wrong.

It is not a dye or an additive. It is a premixed solution called Aurora coolant by mayhem. It is highly rated and lasts for years like that, however the coloring will fade with time like with any dyed liquid.

I'm just wondering if anyone has seen any others like this by another brand, I cant find anything. If not I will go with the Aurora in a different color. It looks amazing though, right? It's my understanding that it stays looking that way for quite some time. Mayhem tells you you cannot have stagnant liquid with the Aurora coolant though, you must have a reservoir with cobstant movement, otherwise it will settle over time and somehow, well, mess up.

The effect doesn't last. Once it evens out it's gone.

The best you can do is a reservoir with a flow indicator or little wheel that spins. They make 5 1/2" drive bay reservoirs with mechanical flow indicators.

If you're crazy you can get an actual flow meter and hook it up to an Allen Bradley PLC and go right to town.

Maybe they make a flow indicator that goes inline with the tubing? I've never seen one.
