Hi,

Anyone familiar with firmware hacks for the Lite-on or LG DL burners? I
just scratched a couple of movies in the car and they're toast!. Now that
I've got the car system I wanted to make sure I only run copies in there so
I don't lose the originals.

I don't know if the lite-on or LG will copy stuff but I currently have a
pioneer 108 and it doesn't want to work even with hacked firmware.

A couple of people posted about Lite-on drives and their abilities to copy
anything....

Thanks,

K

What in the hell are you talking about? Just rip them and burn them with
any DVD burner...

You will need DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink.

Just google for them and, between the 2 programs, you will be able to
copy/backup any movie DVD. I have an in car DVD and 2 children, so came to
the same conclusion as you!

It is also entirely legal in many countries - including America. Give it a
rest you nerd.

You don't speak for all of us, troll.

Yes, this question is off topic, yes, there are better places to look for
the answer (just search the web for DVD backup copy), but most of us here
are not so anal about the subject that we can't handle a legitimate
question.
