my liteon dvd drive rated at 16x dvd and 48x cd rom doesn't, in my eyes work at its ratings. first off i did a benchmark with sisoft for dvd and it said it was only 4x, and when i rip a dvd it only reaches 7x. also when using golden hawks cdrwin and use my dvd drive as a cd reader it will only show its speed to be 12x, but under ahead's nero it will show it to be 48x. please help with my drive.
