So I've just dropped over 2K on a new Aurora, and I'm STILL not happy with it's performance.
I have an i7 8700k, GTX 1080 ti, 32GB ram, 850w power supply, 250gb SSD, etc. I can't even seem to record/play efficiently.
I've already overclocked my GPU pretty heavily, and I can't actually overclock my CPU because i didn't "Purchase the overclock option", instead it has "turbo boost technology".
My question is, What else could I possibly do to make this PC run well enough for what I want? Streaming/Recording/Gaming. Any settings I could configure/other ways I could overclock my PC? The Dell support told me I could do it in "advanced bios" but when I went there I saw nothing of the sorts. Going to check alienware command center now, where they recommended I look next. Just looking for any advice, I'm good at the games but not with the PC. : )

edit::: Just found OVERCLOCKING in the alienware controls!!! no idea what option to choose. Here's screenshots of both profiles and i have the ability to make my own.

Let's not put the cart before the horse. If you have reason to believe at stock settings you're not getting the performance you should, you need to mention what games, what res, and what settings. THAT needs to be sorted out before experimenting with OCing. If you need a guide just to know what settings to change and where to find them, you could make things worse. OCing is a fine balance of tuning and need be done right, and with good cooler.

There are many games that are just poorly optimized, and a 1080 Ti is no guarantee you can get 4k 60 either. As far as streaming goes, a high end Ryzen is better for that.
