It can be a sign that if you have a 3D graphics card in your system, and you have overclocked the Gpu of the card or the memory of it to make each run at a faster speed.
That you have overclocked it too much, and should lower the clock speeds you set.
If the system is either a tower based system, or a laptop.
It can indicate that the graphics card used in the system is getting too hot, or overheating slightly also.
This can be due to a fact that if a tower based Pc the card needs to be cleaned free of any major dust build up that will effect the cooling of the gpu of the graphics card.
Or in the case of a laptop that the vents where hot air is expelled have become clogged with dust also, clocking cold air from the fan on the cooler...
