little confuse about resolution

how can i get a 1080p resolution..... in my desktop

will a get a 1080p res. in the below configuration.
1) board intel db85fl
2) intel i3 4130 processor
3) 4gb ddr3 ram
4) integrated graphics card is intel HD 4400...
4) and a 18 inch monitor
what resolution can i get in this specs..


and what about after adding a graphics card gtx 650 2gb....
what resolution i will get with it.....

It should automatically go to 1080p if your monitor is 1080p. If i dident go to control panel and under appearance and personilzation it should say adjust screen resolution.

Hello... what is the make and model of your Monitor? a monitor can not display more than it is designed for... the intel HD 4400 can display larger than 1080P.
