Hello! Hope everyone is doing great, i have a little question, i know that prebuilt systems are not really something i should look for but i was looking around and find this https://www.bestbuy.com/site/cyberp...-xt-1tb-hdd-500gb-ssd/6400451.p?skuId=6400451
Do you think this is a good deal? I was looking into building something similar on my own but the prices are really all over the place and easily the same build is going to cost me like 200$ more than this, so i wanna know if this is a good deal and if i should take advantage of it, thank you very much for your responses in advance

Friends don't let friends buy CyberPowerPC.

$750 is a little bit above my personal buy/build line.
It will be "OK". Just don't expect too much out of it.

should i avoid it then? i was trying to put together a pc with almost the same parts but i dont manage to get anything below the 900$ with the current prices, thats why i was looking around and was considering that prebuild system

I think it's worthwhile. I'm not sure what the whole "friends don't let friends buy Cyberpower" thing is (perhaps USAFRet can elaborate), but you're looking at saving yourself $150+ going this route. That's not nothing.
CyberPowerPC/iBuyPower is known for:
  1. Substandard parts where no one pays attention. PSU in particular. "600W, so it must be fine!"
  2. Mediocre assembly. We've seen systems here where the DVD drive is simply not connected. Or, the system fails to boot up, right out of the box.
  3. Warranty from them is abysmal. 1 year, you pay shipping for the whole thing.

And that ThermalTake PSU is indeed, substandard.
It will work, just don't plan on long life, or introducing new parts to this thing later.
