Hi everyone!
I was planning to upgrade my 4 years old PC (Assembled by myself). I've got a Radeon HD 7970 as GPU and i7-3770k.
I'm starting to feel how old my GPU is, even if it's still keeping up. Don't know about the processor yet, maybe not that old, you guys could tell me this too.
Anyway, my question: Since I would like to upgrade my GPU, seeing the new 1070/1080 NVidia cards, is the 1080 too much for my PC until I upgrade my CPU? COULD the 1070 be good as a long life replacement?
I know they're not out yet, but I just need a really general idea. Thanks
