[SOLVED] Little red "x" next to audio icon

So I recently had my computer fixed and I just now turned it on but there's a little red "x" next to my audio icon. I tried everything, but the audio just won't work. Can somebody help?

is this a store bought computer (Dell, Acer, HP, etc...) or a custom build?

If it's a store bought computer, go to the manufacturer's support web site and download/install the audio driver.
If it's a custom build, go to the motherboard manufacturer's support web site and download/install the audio driver.
