Question Little scratches on CPU sides. Is it normal?

Hello all,

Today I had to dismount the liquid cooler because it has a problem and I need to send it to the RMA. After clean it a bit, I noticed that my CPU has two scratches on the "wings" sides, where the socket brackets lock the CPU to the motherboard. I know that this won't affect the functionality, but I want to know if it is normal or, in the other hand, I'm a brute that messed up this. Here's a picture.

Then it happens to almost every cpu that has to be placed in the socket? I had three CPUs in the past, but never mounted them by myself to realize.

That is where it's clamped down into the socket at 100% normal.

EDIT the part that holds it in slides a bit when your locking it in.

Oh... That little slide is what makes these scratches? Then this happens on almost every CPU?

And one more (and last question). That doesn't seem like burned or anything right? In the photo I mean. The CPU never reached the 60° in load.

Those marks on the IHS are from the retention bracket when the CPU is secured in the socket, you get something similar on pretty much every Intel CPU.
