I found this video and i'm a little intrigued and confused

Firstly, at 1:03 he talks about recording in 4k is resource intensive, and makes it seem like you need 16 cameras... so not sure what he means?

This video is 6 years old, and his hardware is likely not good enough for 4k gaming esp for today's games (mine isn't either, but will be soon). I assumed you needed and/or it'd be optimum to have a 4K G-Sync Monitor with 144-160 hz and stream at 120-160 fps with close to or the latest components and maybe have hdr and/or ray tracing and/or dlss on. But, using a camera might be more beneficial since you could possibly stream (record only more than likely for now) at higher res and you can use a camera for more things, but you'd probably be missing out on things... idk. What would be best to do? Do cameras have hdr? What about DisplayHDR? What are the pros and cons?

What are the best of the best things to get? I can use this to help me find what i want to get.

Thanks for any help.

Asked here, https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/live-game-streaming-on-youtube-in-4k.3828272/ maybe wrong section.

As I understand your post you wish to record and live stream out to viewers - correct?

More information is needed with respect to the overall requirements and live streaming environment relevant to your intended plans.

What is the environment, for example, where viewers would be "missing out on things"?

Google "How to Live Stream" and limit the search range to the last year or so.

Then as you read and learn revise the search criteria as necessary to narrow down to specific topics and concerns.

At some point, no matter the resolution and streaming speeds, network or other limitations will simply make all that extra capability moot.

Consider starting with a simpler streaming environment using what you have and then upgrade if and as necessary.
