Question LL120 RGB fans

Just wanting to know will I be able to put 3 Corsair LL120 RGB fans on my mother board gigabyte-GA-H81M-S2V with the fan controller I do already have a fan splitter cable in my pc any one know if you can or can not thanks

Each of those fans draw 0.3A. The SYS_FAN header can typically handle 1A but can range from 0.8A to 1.2A. You'd be pushing it with three fans on one header. Especially on a low end motherboard which typically won't have robust power handling ability.

I would play it safe and use an SATA powered hub. You can still get the PWM signal from the motherboard to control speed but the hub will provide the power.

But would I not be able to just put them in the splitter and not buy anything other than that the rgb fans I do have some led red fans now but want to change them they have been running at 2000rpm but don’t want them in my pc
