Local Area Connection adapter disappeared

I have a Dell Inspiron 1750 laptop that runs Windows 10 Pro and I recently disabled the Local Area Connection adapter and it disappeared. All of my driver's are fine and when I troubleshoot it comes up with nothing. How do I fix this?

How did you disable it? Important because we can look at the screens/windows involved and hopefully understand more about what may have happened.

As I read your post you seem to have already tried some of the listed fixes. However, there may be some configuration detail that was missed.

Give it all another try and post as necessary. Add more information about what you tried and the results or non-results.

I was in the Networking and Sharing settings then I went into change adaptor settings then I right clicked local area connection and selected disable. Then it disappeared from the list.

Failing that, even though the drivers are fine, I would download and reinstall new drivers from scratch.
