local/domain time different

I have a weird problem! The power went out here for several hours and when
it came back on one of our XP boxes starting giving out a weird error
message. Whenever I try to log on to the domain from that box it gives the
error of the time on the local machine does not match that of the domain and
will not allow me to log on. It will only allow the Administrator account to
log on locally. I attempted to change the system time manually and also
tried to sync it with the domain, both to no effect. I checked to make sure
both the local XP box and the DC (2000 Server) were both up to date with the
MS update site. I have not encountered this issue before and really don't
know how to correct it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Your best bet is in a login script get it to syncronise the time with the
server. To do this at the top of the logon script put net time
\\servername /set /yes and this will syncronise the time everytime you
login with the time on the server.

Matthew

That worked great Matthew, thanks! I tried same thing last night without
effect, but it was very late and I must not have done something right.
Thanks again!
