Question location of 2.5 inch ssd in dell precision 7720

hello good people, I've made up my mind to upgrade the Samsung ssd 850 pro since I see its holding the precision 7720 from working to its powerful status, I intend to buy the 512gb nvme to see if the laptop will have a boost in speed, I've tried removing battery and I can see the harddisk bay next to the battery, is it that this bay that is meant for the old harddisk types is the one that could be holding the 2.5 inch ssd currently in my dell, or do I have to just screw open the bottom cover to remove the 2.5 inch ssd, thanks

You will have to unscrew the bottom cover to get to the M.2 ports. The bay next to the battery is "old" SATA

the current ssd in my dell precision 7720 is Samsung ssd 850 pro and I was told here in this forum that its not of the m.2 form but instead its the 2.5 inch ssd, so where could it be located within the laptop, thanks
