I was experiencing a lot of instability with my Ryzen 7 2700 and an ASRock B450M Steel Legend. Where a temporary solution was to disable the C-State, but as it didn't seem right to have to change this to solve something that shouldn't happen, I contacted the manufacturer's assistance and was instructed to update the BIOS to version 2.50. However, before updating I forgot to return the settings of the old version to the factory default. I did this only after the update was finished. The point is that I couldn't find C-State in the new version anymore and I was wondering if when I updated and returned the values to the factory, C-State went back to the default too.

I would like to know this, because if the problem stops, I wanted to make sure that it was due to the new BIOS that it resolved and not because an option that I forgot to return to the default continued with the changes I made, which was only temporary.
