Location of game stats

I plan on reformatting my hard drive tonight. Is there a place where saved
game data is stored such as the level you're on, your settings, etc.?

Yes backup the file "q3config.cfg" which is in the baseq folder.Just pop it
back in that folder after u reinstall and all should be as it was.
