I just installed a WD 250Gb SATA. When I look at in in the Device Manager it states that it is at Location O (Primary ATA Channel). Also, when I look at the results on Everest Utility, It shows transfer speed of UDMA 6.

Can this be right?

Yes location 0 is right. The computer world starts counting with 0, instead of 1. like the rest of the world.

It is reporting DMA 6 because your hard drive and your motherboard (or PCI add-in card) supports DMA 6 also. You have a maximum transfer speed of 130MB/s. Don't worry, the hard drive will never get close to that speed.
