Check your power management settings - might be those getting in the way.

Since this can be due to many things, I would recommend you to download and install Sandra for Windows.

This program will test your system. First close all virus programs.

Click the Report Wizard icon in Sandra to see the lists of what will be checked. Then run it(takes some time) and look through the report to see if there are any conflicts with drivers, cards, IRQs a.o.

I don't know about you, but I generally find the power saving options a 'pain in the ass'. So what I do is go to settings/control panel/power options and use the "Always On" option and select "Never" for standby. I set the monitor to turn off after 20 minutes and the HDD after 4 hours. I never have a problem...touch the mouse and the monitor is back in a couple of seconds.

I wonder...what is the speed of gravity?

Tried that Sandra program...Had trouble with it..Probably operator malfunction..Looks like a good program, but dont have the time to deal with it...Thanks
