Hi all,

I have a macbook air (2018).

Yesterday I began the installation of the lastest update. The installation of the update failed every time I have tried, and I can no longer access to my hard drive (docs, etc).

I have tried to reboot the system but:

- I have no access to the macintosh hd since the locked hard drive doest not accept my password and neither the apple id can't unlock it. Thus I am not able to access to the terminal, utilities, etc. The curious is that my password is accepted when I normally launch the pc and the installation of the update and starts all over again.

- I have also tried to reboot thought internet and also this failed because of the same problem.

- I have tried to access the command + s, but also this failed.

- i have also reboot the SMC and the nvram with no success.

If I press ok after the message of failed installation, the boot disk option doesn't find the macintosh hd. But when I reboot the pc (command+r) the disk is fund but the password is not recognized by the system.

I look forward to hear from you.

Thank you so much.

Maria.
