Lockups on map loading after downloading new map?

UT2004: Happens all too frequently. In fact, I can crank up the headphones
to definitely hear if I've "Locked up". I end up 3-finger saluting,
restarting UT and connect to the very same server, and I'm in.

ALso happens on occasion on just regular maps already on my HD.

Any ideas?

This happens to me all the time. Don't know what to do to fix it.
