Hi,
I was wondering of Win2K kept a log of all activity on the computer (ie 2:35 user opens word.exe, 2:36, user opens excel.exe). If so can this log be accessed?

When I rule the world, Apple will only mean the fruit.

Not by default but Win2000 can be set up to monitor and log almost anything.

Start the program(s) that you want to log. Go to Control panel/Administrative tool/Computer management and under Performance logs and alerts click on Counter logs. In the detail pane there is a sample log that you can use. Right click and choose properties. Under counters click Add. Under Performance object select Process. Select Elapsed time from the list of counters and in the right-hand pane highlight the program you want to log. Click Add and close. On the General tab enter how often you want the log updated and on the Log Files tab choose the location and name of the log file. Also select the type and maximum size of the log. On the Schedule tab choose how you want the log to be started and stopped.
