i must say...i expected this to be alot better then it is.... i had a
3com cam(and may hook it up again) and it was great for setail and low
light. My new logitech is inferior in everway. The lighting has to be
extremely high in the room in order to get a good image and a fast
frame rate.
I wont go into telling you what i think about the foolish face
tracking features....
I would advise everyone to stay away from this cam

Well any advice u could give would be appreciated.

It doesn not matter if i am manually adjusting or using auto... I cant
get a good frame rate. If i do get a fast frame rate it becasue the
quality is suffering. If i can get reach 5, I am doing well...and to
me that is not acceptable My 3Com cam was a constant +10
So far AUTO seems to be the best quality i can get.... any more
advice? Anyone?

The QuickCam Zoom has a CMOS sensor. The QuickCam Pro 4000 has a CCD
sensor that is MUCH better in low (1 Lux) light than the QuickCam Zoom,
but not as good as the IONetworks Watchport/V (the former 3Com
HomeConnect) (<1 Lux).
